Extreme Pressure/Anti-Wear Protection
AR9100's extreme pressure (EP) additive forms a solid boundary lubricating film on friction surfaces, providing excellent load carrying ability under the most extreme operating conditions. AR9100 also incorporates highly polar esters that stick to metal surfaces, ensuring good penetration and protection of all engine components.
Reduced Friction
The lubricating film formed by AR9100 reduces friction, improving efficiency and power. Reduced friction means a system will develop less heat and run more smoothly and quietly.
Engine Deposit Reduction
AR9100 will gently remove and disperse any sludge, varnish and carbon deposits built up in the engine. Continuous use of AR9100 will then keep the engine clean.
Extended Oil Drain Intervals
Using AR9100 typically extends oil drain intervals. AR9100 increases the TBN (total base number) of your oil, which will help prevent it from becoming acidic during extended oil drain intervals. AR9100 also improves the oxidative stability of engine oil, reducing the rate of degradation. Oil sampling is a recommended tool to determine if extended drain intervals are suitable for your application.

6.0L & 7.3L Power Strokes with HEUI injectors often suffer from hard starting, rough idling, reduced power and response and smoking until the engine is warmed up.
